The Wide Pants by Yoko Sakamoto are an easy trouser with a wide leg for everyday wear. Details include a double belt loop, an elasticated waistband with inner drawstrings, side pockets, buttoned back pockets, and adjustable ties at the leg opening.
The fabric is a "max high count typewriter", made by using old style shuttle looms in the Enshu region in Japan that makes ultra-high density cotton exceeding the limits of what other weavers can make. It is lightweight and crisp, with a paper-like hand feel.
We also love the beautiful garment dye that gives the piece a deeper color and texture.
